Mindset - Teachers need to create spaces where learners and themselves practice ako and pursue learning and knowledge out of a desire to grow.

Every student - Teachers must realise that every student is unique and requires a responsive curriculum to their strengths and needs.

Stimulation - It sucks to be boring. Teachers should aim to implement curriculum that is cognitively challenging, relevant and overall interesting and exciting.

Social agents - Teachers are agents for social change. They act on behalf of students and hope to make a positive difference in the lives of learners.

You are a learner - Teachers need to be open to continually learning themselves and making mistakes in order to shape and develop their best practice.
